Clinical supervision, communication, and teamwork play an important role in patient safety and risk management. Cultivating these skills in resident physicians is a balancing act between oversight and autonomy for attending physicians. Each situation is unique and this course outlines several approaches involved in the attending-resident relationship, including basic communication and teamwork concepts, effective handoffs, and clinical oversight.
A one-year license of Resident Supervision is available for $60 for individual users. However, APS is offering an introductory discount of 30% for individual licenses purchased before July 17, 2009. To purchase the course click here. For volume purchases, please contact us.
